Delete Your Account

You can delete your KidBud account and its data at any time, from inside the app or by email. Deleting an account cannot be undone.

In the app

Open KidBud, tap your account picture at the top of any screen, then Privacy & data, then Delete account. Confirm, and the account is erased straight away. If you want a copy first, choose "Export my data" on the same screen.

By email

If you no longer have the app, write to [email protected] from the email address you sign in with, or include the mobile number on the account. We will confirm it is you and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your profile: name, email address, mobile number, home address and location.
• Your children's records, calendar, activity history, feed posts, photos and the events you host.
• Your push notification tokens and contact fingerprints.
• If another parent shares your family, they keep the family's schedule and children, and only your own records are erased. Otherwise the whole family is erased with you.

What is kept

• Interests you typed yourself, kept as words only with nothing linking them to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
• Backups, which are overwritten on a rolling basis within 30 days.
• Purchase records that Apple or Google keep for subscriptions. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account.
